General Updates//
I will be on vacation this week so there will be no updates made to the site. I will be out of town Thursday through Saturday and will return home on Sunday sometime.
Once I return home, I will be gearing up for the new catalog release. On May 31st you will be able to view the entire catalog online! I have quite a few people I need to send catalogs out to and I am hoping to do that between June 6-16, this also depends on how fast I get them from Stampin’ Up!. The good news once shipped they should be at your homes within 2-3 days because of priority shipping.
Have a great week and Memorial Day weekend everyone.

Handmade Card//
Here is the last card for the week during my mini card-a-thon. I hope you have enjoyed this weeks cards. I know I had fun creating them and sharing them all with you. The last card is another For Luv of Stamps Group Challenge. We were challenged to use flowers and/or the colors Real Red, Pumpkin’ Pie, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry.

Notes on Design
When I initially did the sentiment, I stamped the greeting in the center of the ovals, but when I took another look at it I knew it needed another design element. It’s spring time and what goes great with flowers? Butterflies. BINGO! That’s when I stamped and punched out the Tempting Turquoise butterfly and added a little bling to its body.

This card I am excited to share with you. Not only is this my customer Thank You card for the month of May, but it also features brand new washi tape and a small sample of our new Gingham Garden Designer Series from the 2013-2014 annual catalog. Unfortunately, you can not purchase this product until May 31st. I know … the waiting, the teasing … how rude!
Remember, if you order from me this month, you will receive this card in the mail from me. Is it a brand new car? No, but I made it with my own two hands. I know you want one. *wink* *wink*

Notes on Design
This card screams spring to me. Yup, I love it and I have taken the same “sketch” and made a few minor tweaks to turn into a birthday card. I will post that card in the upcoming week.

Handmade Card//
When Stampin’ Up! had their Sale-A-Bration promotion going on, the stamp set that this stamp is from was very popular (Feeling Sentimental). When I finally was able to to get this set, Sale-A-Bration was wrapping up and I was not able to showcase the set like I wanted to. The same goes for the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper. Love it.
I try not to post retired products, but the great thing about this card is that you can change the stamped image and designer series paper to anything that is masculine and it would work. I just love all the blue in this card, probably because my favorite color is blue.

Notes on Design
Besides the bold pattern in the background, I wanted the Ferris wheel to pop of the Island Indigo card stock. I used VersaMark ink and our White Stampin’ Emboss Powder to achieve that look.
